RG146 Qualification

Our RG 146 courses meets ASIC requirements for accountants looking to obtain a limited authority with the removal of the accountant’s exemption for setting up of a SMSF.

The RG146 course includes the following areas of competency: Generic, superannuation, SMSF for Limited Authority and additionally Financial Planning. Managed Investment Schemes and Insurance for Full Authority

  • Designed to give credit for your accounting qualifications, build on your existing skills and only assessing gaps in your knowledge and bundling assignments to minimise study and class time in a two day face to face interactive workshop.
  • Participants receive two manuals and course content covers generic advice, superannuation and SMSF.

  • Provides practical advice on how to manage your SMSF accountant responsibilities both to ASIC and your clients.
  • Will guide you on how to meet your compliance requirements, utilise our Statement of Advice templates, and access our extensive professional development training and online resources as well as our GPS Wealth client engagement tools developed specifically for accounting firms.
  • To attend, you must have completed an RG146 course and be an authorised representative under GPS Wealth Ltd.
